Getting cash was easy after I got off the bus from Laos. I had no Dong, but found several ATMs by walking to the east end of the square. The hotel is clean and well placed, about a 15-minute walk from the bus station and next to the train station. My room and bathroom were clean, with a fan, AC, a nice shower, and a good selection of toiletries.

There is a garage if you need somewhere to keep a motorbike, but my stay was rough. I booked a non-smoking room and found an ashtray and cigarette ashes inside, and the room smelled of smoke. The mattress was as hard as a floor. Between that smell, the mattress, and the air conditioner, I couldn't fall asleep.
