We eventually booked a much better hotel, and we won’t return to any of theirs. The air conditioning was useless in the summer heat, and the room stayed too hot for me to sleep. I live in a cold state in the US, so the heat was especially hard for me. We asked the receptionist about it and were moved to another room, but it was the same there. We’d stayed at their newer hotel before without a problem, so we asked to transfer there and said we’d pay the difference. They said we’d have to pay the full price and wouldn’t get a refund for this room. I understand if guests simply want to leave, but we felt we had no choice because the room was unbearable. Save yourself the trouble and don’t stay here.

We spent two nights there, and the weather was quite cold. There were no duvets on the beds, just thin duvet covers. We arrived late at night and were so tired that we slept without one the first night. When we asked the staff for duvets, we found out they’d forgotten to provide this standard item. It wasn’t just our room, the neighboring rooms had the same problem.

Getting here by car from National highway 1a is easy, and the rooms are very good for the price. I rated it four stars because it’s officially listed as three-star, though it’s much better than most other three-star places.

The reception staff weren’t helpful, and this was the worst service I’ve experienced at a hotel. They asked for 1 million VND if I wanted my ID card back. Don’t stay here.
