Becamex Hotel New City

I won't stay at Becamex Hotel again. The whole thing left me feeling disrespected, and it was one of my worst hotel experiences. When we checked in, we got a key but no room number. We tried the number we read as A719 and couldn't get in. After we called the front desk, they said someone would come help, but nobody explained that the room was actually A714. They just told us to wait, and after 20 minutes no one had arrived. Staff later insisted that in Vietnam a "4" looks like what I thought was a "9," but they hadn't clarified that at the start. They acted as if it was entirely our fault. I was very disappointed by the staff and management's attitude. They didn't handle our needs promptly or sincerely, and their unprofessional response was frustrating. It didn't feel like a four-star hotel at all.

The staff were a big help, and both the restaurant and cafe were good.

I rarely write hotel reviews, but this place really impressed me. It’s beautiful and comfortable, the restaurant has lots of delicious food, and the staff are friendly. Families can relax here too, it’s not only for business stays.

There’s lots of greenery here, and the hotel feels like a high standard place. The room was clean and spacious, and breakfast had plenty of tasty choices. Getting to the main town is difficult because this new town isn't fully developed yet, and there’s nothing interesting around. Still, it works well for a business trip in the new industrial zone, somewhere to go back and sleep after work. The car porch floods in heavy rain, which makes it hard to get to a taxi. Could be a building design issue. The rest was good.
