Mr Phai at reception made a big difference for my family, handling check-in and check-out quickly and professionally and explaining everything we needed for the holiday. We’re sincerely grateful to him and to Edensee Ke Ga Resort for a wonderful stay. The resort is conveniently located, with a luxurious international style, full facilities, and excellent service. We started off feeling like this was a five-star resort. The afternoon high tea from 2:30 to 4:30 pm was enjoyable. But the bathtub took ages to fill because the water came out in a trickle. I told reception, and when the technical staff came, they only said that was the normal flow. The electric safe was already locked when we checked in, so I couldn’t put my valuables in it. On our final morning, the restaurant had its usual buffet setup but no buffet food ready. Breakfast was switched to an à la carte menu, and my rating fell from five stars to one. Guests should be told beforehand if management plans to change the breakfast format. Our expectations weren’t met, and we were very disappointed. Saving resources when occupancy is low may make sense, but changing things without telling customers is bad for the business. I’m surprised management would rather save some money than earn more five-star reviews. This was probably my first and only stay at Edensee, and I’ll look at nearby competitor resorts that don’t treat customers this way. The resort manager’s service recovery led me to raise my final rating to three stars. 👍🏻
