Holo Fairy House Hanoi

It was hard to find the hotel at first, since it's tucked in a small alley and the sign doesn't stand out. Once there, I thought the price and quality were fair. The room was a bit cramped but the bed was comfy, and it stayed quiet at night. They had the necessary things like a kettle and fridge, and the receptionists were friendly and nice, which I really appreciated. Good value for the location, and we had a nice time.

The location was ideal, but for what I paid I could have received better service elsewhere on the same street. My room was tiny and smelly, with very few amenities. They left conditioner but no shampoo, and during my three-day stay they never cleaned the room or refilled anything. The hosts came across as awkward or unfriendly, I'm still not sure which. This is one of those times I wish ratings went below one star.

We booked at the last minute after plans changed and we needed one more night in Hanoi. The staff were very friendly and got us checked in quickly. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, trendy, and quite spacious. There's no elevator to the rooms, but we were only going to the 4th floor with small bags, and staff offered to carry them anyway.

Simple but comfortable rooms at a very reasonable price, and the staff were friendly. It's a lovely little hostel right in the heart of Hanoi's Old Quarter. I only stayed one night, but I'd definitely return if I need a place in Hanoi.
