Rock Water Bay Beach Resort & Spa

My short stay at rockwater bay was sweet, and I had an awesome time. The room was relaxing, with a great ocean view and sound. There was lots of swimming and time to unwind, and the food and service were great. A travel tip: befriend the bartender, and he’ll make the experience even more enjoyable with drinks. I’ll definitely come back.

The pool and spa were great, and the only things here that deserve a star. I’d come just for those, but I wouldn’t stay overnight. The restaurant food was horrible, the ingredients didn’t seem fresh, and the meat I was served left me with a bad stomach. I barely ate lunch, so I tried to get a smoothie or coconut water. That turned into a whole ordeal: reception sent me to the restaurant, then the restaurant sent me to the shop by the pool. I’d already explained there was no staff there, but they told me to go back because someone was there now. Still nobody. Going up and down those stairs, I sprained my ankle. No coconut water, just extra steps. It seemed like they didn’t want to make money. When I got back to my room, I called reception to ask why buying a drink was so complicated. She said she’d check and call back, but I never heard from her. The nearest store I could find was 5 km away. Honestly, this isn’t a resort, it’s “go on a diet rehab.” Come if you want diarrhea, to be starved, and bitten by mosquitoes. They barely have customers, and there are plenty of reasons why.

A quiet, affordable place to get away from the city or the crowds for a few days. Food, spa, and breakfast are all conveniently available, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I’ll be back.

The view was the most stunning I’ve ever seen, blending natural beauty with talented construction and craftsmanship. I had a wonderful holiday, with dedicated service, especially from the room-making and food teams. Thank you, I’ll return!
