Ngoc Han Hotel

The room could be a lot better kept. We found hair and used tissues, which makes it seem like the cleaners aren't doing their job properly. We only pulled the bed and wardrobe out because the mosquitoes seemed to be coming from behind them. With mosquitoes already a known problem, cleaning should be a priority. Nobody wants to sleep in a dirty room. We were on the ground floor, and there was dust everywhere. The mosquitoes got so bad that we went to the night porter for help. He gave us a can of strong spray, but didn't come to help with the problem. At midnight we had to spray the room and then stay out for an hour. That wasn't much fun after we'd already been travelling for nine hours. Maybe we were just unlucky. There's no restaurant, so getting a morning coffee means walking down the road. It would be nice to have a coffee bar open for guests before another day of travel. It's a shame, because I think this hotel has a lot of potential if it's managed a little better and cleaned to a reasonable standard. I hope you find these comments useful.
