Tre Viet Hotel 2

The room was an okay size, and the price was reasonable. The balcony is shared on the third floor. The staff were helpful.

On the third day of Tet (Lunar New Year), we arrived to find rooms still listed on Booking and Agoda. The hotel blamed those sites for selling rooms without permission, then said they were fully booked. They claimed our room category had sold out and that only rooms at 900,000 VND per night were available. Given how run-down the place looked, who would pay that? This felt dishonest, and I advise everyone to avoid the hotel. I hope it goes bankrupt soon! :)))))

The wardrobe had no doors but lots of hooks, which made hanging clothes really convenient. The room itself was a bit small, and parking was awkward because there were so many vehicles around the hotel. Service was good, the room was clean, and the staff were enthusiastic. The price was okay: I paid 540,000 VND per day for a two-bed room during the September 1st holiday.

We had no plans for the 2/9 holiday and had to arrange everything in a rush. We booked a balcony room at Tre Viet just 24 hours before getting on the bus, and luckily met Ms. Linh. She was very enthusiastic and helped us during our 3-2 night stay in Phu Yen. We arrived in PY around 4:30 am, hoping to see the sunrise at Mui Dien that morning. Ms. Linh arranged an early car rental and a room where we could sort our belongings, and she advised us on an itinerary so we could visit all the places we wanted. There were two of us, and we rented a single room with a balcony for 450k per day, plus a 30k-per-hour surcharge. The room was clean and airy, and with the balcony, opening the curtains let daylight fill the whole room. The hotel is right in the center, making it easy to get between the north and south. Since it's in the Vincom area, though, cars park on both sides, so you have to watch out for them when entering or leaving.
