Nam Phong Hotel

The owner was the worst part. After I’d been checked in for about 10 minutes, I went downstairs to pay and was charged 100k. The owner cursed at me and acted like a thug. The guesthouse itself was filthy. There was no drinking water, and the yellow-stained towels and blankets smelled awful. The toilet still had urine in it when the room was handed over, and the bathroom was pitch black. A very bad experience.

For 400,000 VND a night, I expected better service. The VIP room was dirty, the sheets were old, and there was still chewing gum stuck in the room.

The room itself was generally okay, but there were so many things that need fixing :)) The bathroom door is broken and won't lock, and both the shower head and toothbrush have completely come apart. The mattress cover also had lots of brown circular stains and didn't look clean. The mirror could use a pull-down screen or curtain. A family might feel too uncomfortable to shower with it as it is, though maybe siblings would be fine :)) Shampoo or body wash in a large pump bottle would look cleaner than pouring it from a small bottle. Hope the shop sees this feedback.

The host was friendly, and the room was clean and nice. A few more razors and better quality soap would make the stay even better.
