Sai Gon Vinh Long Hotel

The pool was the biggest letdown, and the experience fell well below the 4-star standard I paid for. For a hotel in a well-known chain, I expected more professional upkeep. The water was in deplorable condition, with no sign it had been cleaned for quite some time. A pool that cannot meet basic hygiene standards should not be open, and tickets should not be sold to outside guests. There were also no safety staff or lifeguards on duty. Leaving a busy pool area without supervision or professional protection, especially for families, showed a serious disregard for guest safety.

Terrible hotel. The rooms are decent, but people are allowed to smoke and do whatever they want in the corridors, so the whole place reeks of cigarettes. Parties also go on late enough to shake the hotel and keep everyone from sleeping.

We’ve stayed here twice now. It’s clean and conveniently located for the center of Vinh Long. Across the street there’s a park and playground with games and toy car rides, which my kid loves. We’ll come back.

I’ve stayed here several times, and honestly, nothing has changed. The location works well for kids, with a park, street food, and a nearby local market selling fresh fruit. The desk service was good, while cleaning was just okay. The rooms are the worst part. I found writing on the walls and a stain on the blanket, and the place is overpriced. I’d suggest it for travelers focused on sightseeing and exploring, since the location is perfect for that, rather than for a restful stay. I’m staying at VinHotels now and recommend looking there if you want somewhere better.
