The late-night noise was especially frustrating, with elevators on both sides of the room. I also didn't get the quiet, high-floor room I asked for. Even the corridors smelled of cigarette smoke, and the room reeked of it too, despite my request for a non-smoking room. I booked three nights two weeks in advance, and now the thought of spending all three days here makes me regret it.

The location was good, and the room itself was clean. The bathroom, though, was cramped, with its door barely clearing the sink. Breakfast was basic. I also rarely saw the front desk staff smile at guests. A warmer smile and greeting would have been nice. That's a shame.

The building seemed new and clean, and I had a comfortable bed in a VIP room. Breakfast was a simple buffet, and I had a pleasant stay.

The staff were really friendly, and breakfast tasted great. A great hotel to stay in.

The sheets, blankets, and towels had such a strong scent that it was almost overwhelming as soon as I entered the room. Opening the window should help. I left the sign on the door saying the room didn't need cleaning, but housekeeping cleaned it anyway, so it may be worth reminding the front desk. Even with those annoyances, the price makes up for it. At Sally Hotel, staff are attentive, buffet breakfast is included, and the rates are reasonable, with discounts for longer stays. There's also a self-service coffee and tea station by the sofas near the front desk. (Please select my answer.)
