Rivera Boutique

The reception staff acted as though everything was fine and didn't want to refund our money. The place should be avoided. The pillows smelled greasy and stale, the walls were damp, and both the shower stall and iron were dirty. There was no refrigerator. The sheets had dirty marks and the towels had holes. Turning on the air conditioner caused an allergic reaction for me, probably because it had never been cleaned or there was mold.

Affordable, with a nice room and friendly staff. Tourist spots and the beach are both within walking distance.

The location is okay, but it's the only decent thing here. There were bugs on the bed, the toilet leaked, and the shower floor had cracked tiles and missing pieces. When we asked the staff to deal with it, they refused to help or move us to another room. I'm not sure a room change would've helped anyway, since the hotel's condition is concerning. Between the rooms and the staff, I don't understand how this place is still operating. Honestly, one of the grossest hotels I've been in.

We waited two hours for this room to be cleaned before we could get in. Don't come here!
