Eden Hotel

That ocean view is a gift from the site itself, not anything the hotel has done, and the room windows are designed so badly you can't even sit and look out at the beach. The sea-view location is fantastic, but that doesn't make this a five-star hotel. It's nowhere near international standards, so I don't understand who gave it that rating. Seeing so many Indians sitting on the entrance steps also disappointed me and spoiled the view. There are no labels saying the flip-flops or toilets have been disinfected, and bathrobes aren't provided upfront. Room service said they'd bring one if I needed it. Of course I do. They don't even have nightdresses. The shampoo is poor, and without conditioner my hair got dry and brittle. A five-star place should have a full set of amenities, but there aren't even razors or shower caps. Two little plastic water bottles don't cover two people, and the only drinks are instant coffee and tea bags. The cushions and pillows smell, too. Reviews already mention the poor service, so why hasn't management tried to improve things? If they won't make changes, Google should show two or three stars. Don't be fooled.

The bathroom was our main problem. There's nothing separating the shower from the sink and toilet, so water spreads over the whole floor after you shower. Management could fix that with a small divider. Rooms also feel a little small, and the shared spaces can get crowded and noisy, probably because the hotel is popular and busy. Still, breakfast is pretty decent, and the staff are exceptionally kind and welcoming. The location is fantastic, right on the beach, which makes morning walks and sunset views easy. A lovely place, just be prepared for the bathroom setup.

I had a very relaxing stay at Eden Ocean Hotel. The atmosphere was calm, and the service was outstanding. Check-in and check-out both went smoothly, and the breakfast was delicious with a good selection. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff were always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with a smile. It's in an excellent spot, close to the beach and plenty of places to explore. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Da Nang.

From my room on the 18th floor, the windows looked out over the city and the beach, and the view was breathtaking. I could happily have spent a whole day just watching it, though our tour didn't leave any free time to laze around. This was one of the best hotels on my Vietnam tour. The 21-floor hotel had excellent rooms with all the amenities in place. We only ate breakfast there, and the range, quality, and taste were superb. Highly recommended.
