The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, and we happened to get a quiet room too. The room itself wasn't properly clean, though. There was long hair all over when we arrived, and the floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in ages. Room service didn't do much to fix the cleanliness either. The woman at reception barely speaks English.

I first lived here for three months, and now I come back to Ecodanang whenever I'm in Danang. The small local cul-de-sac setting is lovely, around a 5-10 minute walk from the beach, and they offer free tours led by students practicing their English. The double room is spacious, the beds are really comfortable, and breakfast is included. At just $10 USD a night, it's great value, and there's a dorm as well. Emmy and the staff are wonderful, welcoming and helpful, and they all speak English. I love this place. You'd be crazy to stay anywhere else.

Really good value for the price. The hotel is clean, the hosts are friendly, and breakfast is free. The bathroom is more spacious than what I've found at other places in the same price range.

The rooms are damp, with lots of mold under the ceiling. It's cheap, which might partly make up for the health problems it could cause.

Great staff and a great place. For where it is, it's very cost effective.
