Tecco Sky Hotel

We paid 400K for a huge double room on the fifth floor while taking a break from backpacking. It was tidy and clean, with a comfortable mattress, though the bathroom was a little small. Breakfast had the usual Vietnamese dishes, plus a freshly made omelette, toast, pastries, fruit, and juice. The hotel was partly being renovated, but we were told to ask for a room at the far end of the building, where we wouldn’t hear the work. It was probably the best value in town. I’d stay again and recommend it to a friend.

We found the location convenient for what we needed, and I was pleasantly surprised by the city. We were riding a motorbike from Hanoi to HCMC, so this worked well for an overnight stop. Breakfast was an Asian buffet, fine and filling before a long day on the road. The room had a good bed, decent space, and useful amenities, though nothing fancy. It smelled a little like smoke, and they kept our passports during the stay, which felt a bit uneasy. There was no trouble getting them back. Good value, and I’d recommend it.

They even helped us book bus tickets to Hanoi and arranged a pickup from the hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. The rate included an amazing buffet breakfast. If I’m back in Vinh, I’ll stay here again.

The location was convenient, with an ATM nearby, and it was easy to get around from the hotel. Our room was clean and nice, the food was alright, and the staff were okay. The main drawback was loud music or other noise, though it stopped after two hours.
