Vinpearl Cua Hoi, Affiliated by Meliá

The hot water was only warm at best, and the outside light flickered when we switched it on. Those were small problems, though, and didn't spoil our great, if short, stay at Vinpearl. The room was clean, the hotel immaculate, and we had a beautiful lake view. Breakfast came with the room and had loads of choices, enough for my sweet tooth and savory appetite. The breakfast area was spotless, and anything dropped on the floor was cleaned up straight away. Staff were patient and kind, spoke English, and answered all our questions with a smile. It was expensive, but worth every cent. I hope to come back for longer.

Waking up, opening the curtains, and seeing the ocean right there was the highlight of my trip. We stayed in a two-bedroom oceanfront villa, and it was worth every penny. It was so quiet compared with the noisy hotels in central Cua Lo. The private pool was crystal clear, and the Champa-inspired decor gave the place a very zen feel.

A lovely beachfront hotel that makes for an ideal retreat. The facilities are modern, with premium amenities and a broad range of high-end services. Staff were friendly, professional, and very attentive.

Hanh at the front desk went out of her way to sort out a booking problem that was completely my fault. She fixed it by checkout and went above and beyond. That kind of help wouldn't happen back in the US. The service really stood out. I was in Vinh for two business days, and we chose this huge hotel because it was the only large-scale one in the area. The rooms were clean, if a bit dated, and the breakfast was great, with decent pho and Western options. I'd return if I visit again. Thanks, Hanh!
