BH Residence Inn

The one small drawback was that the balcony got the afternoon sun. Apart from that, I was so happy with this place, more than with any of the dozens of hotels, motels, and resorts I've stayed in over the years. The welcome from all the staff was lovely, and they were friendly and helpful throughout. My room was spacious, with a really comfortable bed, a great ensuite, a well-equipped kitchen, and a full-size fridge. I spent most mornings at the rooftop pool. It's great, even if it isn't huge. Whenever I had a question or concern, the staff were happy to help.

Putting that aside, the staff were helpful, a few missing items in the room were sorted out quickly, and the room was cleaned every day. The rooftop pool was nice, breakfast was good, and the location worked well, about 10-15 minutes from both the back and front beach. I'd stay again. 🙂 Before that, the reviewer addressed @ Vee Murphy directly, saying they thought the person was medically incompetent for complaining that staff didn't know English in their first review. They said the complaint was confusing and that they stopped reading there. They'd looked through the reviews and hadn't found anyone saying overcharging was common. They then apologized to the lads and returned to their own review.

The rooftop swimming pool had a great view, and the service was excellent, friendly, and helpful. We had a great stay at BH Residence in March 2021. The room facilities were quite old, though, and I hope they've been improved by now. We'll return in March this year.

We spent four nights at BH Residence in Vung Tau and had a wonderful time. The room was clean, breakfast was included and the food was great, and by the time we left the staff felt like family. We could walk about 15 minutes to the beach (China Sea), Belly's Watering Hole & Pub, and plenty of interesting restaurants and markets. My family and I came from Calgary, Alberta, Canada to Vietnam in November 2018. We'd definitely come back. Thank you!
