Terracotta Resort & Spa

The beachfront setting and pool make for an excellent location, and the resort and staff are excellent too. I highly recommend staying here.

The gardens and the spot by the pool and beach are beautiful, but our stay at Terracotta was disappointing. On two of our three nights, loud team-building events took over both the pool and beach. Our room was near the pool, so we heard all the announcements. We came here to relax by the pool, and lost that chance. They offered no compensation, only an apology for the inconvenience. I'd read another review about the same issue, but thought it might be a one-off. Now it seems the extra event revenue matters more to them than their guests. The bed was uncomfortable, and housekeeping woke us at 8am. There's nowhere to hang the do-not-disturb sign on the door. The food was just okay, and the bread was stale. The booking listing said there was a full spa, including manicures and pedicures, but when I asked, I was told they only offered massages. Again, just an apology, no compensation. I messaged the hotel on booking.com before we arrived and never got a reply. The staff weren't friendly. Given what we paid, it was a pretty disappointing stay.

We booked this hotel for the pool and beach atmosphere, but the team-building events booked out the pool, so we couldn't use it for about half our stay. We paid a lot for a room next to it and could barely sleep because of the event noise. Honestly, the service was ridiculous. The front desk staff seemed completely unenthusiastic and unprofessional. The pool photos are beautiful, but you may not get to use it. There are plenty of other hotels around, and cheaper ones too. I'd spend the money somewhere else.

Our rooms were spotless and well cared for, and the staff were so friendly and ready to help with any questions or needs. Terracotta Mui Ne was a wonderful place for a family getaway with the kids, and I highly recommend it for a relaxing family vacation.
