Hafi Hotel

Breakfast was handled thoughtfully. On busy days there was a full buffet, and on quieter days you could pre-order from the menu so the food was fresh and made to your liking. The receptionist and housekeeping staff were enthusiastic and helpful, and made us feel welcome. HAFI Hotel also works as a restaurant, which is convenient. It has a modern, luxurious feel, and the rooms were spotless, tidy, and fully equipped. Housekeeping kept everything immaculate. There’s a nice swimming pool and a spacious car park, plus a dedicated space for company parties or birthday celebrations. For the price, it was a solid 5-star experience. It covers all the bases effectively for families or company trips, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vung Tau for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

The rooms were okay, and the service was acceptable. The main drawback was how isolated the hotel felt. Vung Tau town was far away, and there was nothing close by, so we walked 1.5 km to find the nearest place to eat. The beach also felt secluded, both during the day and at night. We were concerned about safety after dark and decided not to walk there then.

Finding somewhere to eat was the hard part of our stay. The hotel restaurant was disappointing, with food that wasn’t prepared well, and there weren’t other dining options nearby. We ended up taking a taxi into the city for every meal, which was inconvenient. Bring some food or arrange transport ahead of time if you stay here. The hotel itself is reasonably priced, just a five-minute walk from the beach, and the rooms were clean. The staff don’t speak English, but they were very friendly and welcoming.

The staff were especially kind when a misunderstanding came up during my stay. Everyone listened and offered what support they could, and the issue was resolved. They graciously accepted responsibility and discounted my second night as an apology. I appreciated how they handled it, and I’ll choose this hotel again when I return to Vung Tau. I spent two restful nights here after a stressful day riding my motorbike, and nearly stayed a third. My room was spacious and clean, the bed felt like a cloud, the water pressure and temperature were excellent, and I loved having a balcony. Check-in was handled kindly and efficiently by reception. The hotel is new, and construction was underway in the surrounding area during my visit. The beach is less than a five-minute walk away. There’s also onsite dining, with a decent number of dishes to choose from.
