A great hotel, and don’t let the two stars affect your decision. The people are great, and the stay was nice and clean.

The family running Khoa Van Hotel has been helpful whenever I've needed something, and I've known them for over seven years. After living and working in Vietnam for ten years, I can say this is one of the best values in Vung Tau. It's clean and quiet, everything works, and you can walk to good food, shops, and the beaches. I highly recommend it, especially for the lovely family.

It's a family-run place with small rooms that are rented by the hour. For now, a single room costs 700,000 VND on weekends.

The owner is really funny, and the room was nice for the low price. There are lots of restaurants around, too. Three bottles of mineral water for 20k is very cheap.

There were several restaurants nearby, though the beach was over 1 km away. The room and service were good, but the toilet looked old, with yellowing on both the floor and bowl. It was okay overall.
