Ngoc Thuan Hotel

The owner kept asking me to cancel my app booking. This place doesn’t provide bottled water for guests, and I had to agree to cancel through the app before I could get a pack of water. I booked during a holiday, so I accept that it cost more because of the date. That’s not my complaint. A tourist accommodation should still be clean and hygienic, but the room smelled like sewage and the blankets and pillows smelled like they’d been slept on by old people. The toilet was dirty, with a cistern but no ladle. Old, dirty pillows were scattered around, and there was trash all over the floor. There was also an outlet with wires plugged in haphazardly, and a round bare bulb that looked like a chicken coop lamp. When we checked out, a woman came in and rudely rearranged the pillows and blankets. Was that why they smelled the way they did? Had they even been washed? Other places at least wash theirs so they smell clean, like fabric softener or detergent. This guesthouse has poor facilities and doesn’t seem willing to invest in them or keep things clean for repeat customers.
