I booked two nights through Agoda and emailed to ask about checking in late, including whether I could move my 2 PM check-in to 3 PM. I got no reply, and the landline was unreachable too. Half a day later, customer service called from Hong Kong in English to tell me the booking had been cancelled. At least I hadn’t booked at the last minute, or I’d have been left without anywhere to stay. I’ve never seen a place operate like this. They advertise very cheap rates on dozens of websites, then cancel after customers make a booking. Only the luckiest people can stay here :)))

They quoted the wrong price, then cancelled my booking very close to my departure date, even though I’d already transferred payment through the app. The app offered a refund, but the whole thing was still very frustrating. They didn’t call to tell me either, just sent an email. It shows a complete lack of respect for customers.

All the listings are fake, and customers who book end up cancelling their orders. Neither the phone number nor the email address can be reached.
