We've stayed at Ruby Land Hotel for extended periods in December 2023 and December 2024. The staff are warm, and our room is always cleaned competently. The towels are really soft, and we appreciate the complimentary bottles of water. The location worked well for us, though it isn't close to the beach. Grab rides, similar to Uber, are affordable and take about five minutes to get there. We'd recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable stay in Vung Tau.

The toilet was still marked with yellow liquid, and there was hair all over the sink. The air conditioning didn't cool the room at all, even though the remote said 25 degrees Celsius. And she called it a VIP room!

The room details weren't clear, and it took until 2:30 PM for us to get to our room even though we'd scheduled an appointment for 2 PM. The receptionist seemed to be there just for show and couldn't resolve anything. The security guard only worked nights, so there was no one managing traffic during the day. If another car came into the basement parking area, we couldn't get out. The room was also missing proper bathroom amenities.
