Thai Binh Motel

It was quiet before midnight, though the street got a bit loud during the national holiday because local tourists filled Vung Tau and there are other hotels nearby. For the price, it was definitely worth staying, especially on a budget. At the time of my visit, a night outside local holidays cost $7, which is peanuts for what you get. Still, remember you get what you pay for. The owner is a lovely lady. I told her when we’d arrive in the evening, and she was waiting outside and recognized us right away. It’s a family business, and she doesn’t speak English, so please be considerate about that. She does her best to explain things and help with whatever you need. Our room was much bigger than expected, with a small balcony, wardrobe, TV, vanity table, private bathroom, air conditioning and a fan. Bring your own toiletries, especially toothpaste. They do provide it, but the quality is lower, which reflects the price.
