The Dreamer Hotel

The room they gave us as a spare was in terrible shape, and they still asked the guest for more money after the booking. There were no towels or kettle; the faucet was greasy and dirty, ants were all over the room, and the cups and fridge were filthy. There wasn't even a clean cup to rinse your mouth. They gave us a balcony room, but someone else's clothes were drying on the balcony.

The bathroom was broken in several places, including the sprayer, which had come off its wire. They said a room was available, but when they opened the door there was already a guest lying inside. The receptionist then said there was a room, but when I went downstairs to check, they said it wouldn't be ready until the afternoon and told me to let the guest call. The floor was far too dirty to work on, though I can sympathize 😌.

We were a group of 15 adults and 4 children, and had asked for four double rooms in the same building at 1,200,000 VND each. We arrived at 9:40 AM on a busy Saturday. The owner said only two rooms in one building would be ready by 11:00; the other two would be on the first floor while those were on the fourth. To get all four together, we'd have to wait until 4:00 PM. With elderly people and children along, we took two rooms first and stayed overnight. The owner had promised nice, newly renovated rooms, but they were old and worn, with rusty old faucets and toilet bowls. We booked on Saturday and are checking out today. It was a one-time stay for us; we won't return.

The owners were so lovely 🥰, and the room was clean, well equipped, and affordable.
