The Wind Boutique Resort

We only booked one night, but I really wished we’d stayed longer. There’s breakfast, a pool, spa services, billiards, a sauna, and a steam room, and the staff’s hospitality was a full 10/10. I don’t think the low reviews I’ve seen are deserved. The views and look of the place were amazing, as the photos show. It is up on a hill and ‘far’ from the beach, so walking up and down could be a lot of effort for some people. They do offer drop-offs and pickups on request. We rented a moped for 270.000k/day, so getting around wasn’t an issue for us. The beaches are only a 5 minute drive away.

Of the three hotels we stayed at in Vung Tau, the Imperial, and the Babylon Resort Mini, this one was easily our favorite. The atmosphere and the lovely people working there made it feel completely relaxing. We also really enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and excellent massage. Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

The place looks beautiful in the photos, but the actual stay was underwhelming and overpriced. You can pay HALF as much for much nicer accommodation in Vung Tau. It feels like the hotelier is charging a lot for facilities that have been forgotten, and I don’t understand the positive reviews. The hotel does NOT look like the pictures, unless they were taken maybe 10 years ago. It’s incredibly worn and tired, with about half of it apparently shut down and abandoned. There’s no bar, and breakfast is served in a strange little garden area that feels like an afterthought. At half the price, it would be fine, but at this rate it falls short on all fronts.

The free shuttle was a lovely bonus, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It’s a beautiful, secluded spot that feels calm and relaxing even in a busy town.
