Thin Huong Hotel

The scenery is really nice.

The room was neat and the place felt cozy.

The worst part was finding someone pressing their face against our door around midnight. Since it was mirrored aluminum, we could see them, and a wooden door would have prevented that. The doorknob was broken too. We paid 1.6 million VND over a holiday, so I understood the price, but the facilities didn't come close to matching it. Online, we'd been told our room had a private toilet. When we arrived, it turned out to be shared by everyone on the floor. Reception blamed the hotel's driver, which made no sense after we'd agreed on a private one. The driver also left the toilet unhygienic, with a terrible smell. It was a horrible stay. Maybe they treated us bureaucratically because they thought we were students, or maybe that's just how they operate. Either way, we're customers, and I hope they fix this.

We paid 1.6 million for a room meant for six, but it was dirty, noisy through the walls, and had an aluminum door people could peek through. Service felt unprofessional: six of us got just three bottles of water, and when I tried to buy more, they wouldn't sell any. The toilet was outside the room and, despite the hotel saying it was for our room alone, we had to share it. It smelled awful. A real experience, and I wouldn't return. Think carefully before staying.
