I booked because the price was cheap and the hotel was near the airport. The road from the airport felt creepy, and the town seemed like a place for homeless people. As soon as I arrived, both the staff and the hotel made me uncomfortable, and I felt right away that something was wrong. I checked the room before paying and found it creepy. Since I had booked with free cancellation, I thought about it for about ten minutes, then asked the counter to cancel. They said no, because I had stayed for two hours. I told them I had only been in the room about fifteen minutes and had just sat in a chair without using the amenities. Then the staff suddenly took my Corona negative certificate and passport and put them in my pocket. I got my passport back and kept saying I wanted to leave as soon as possible, but they kept refusing and we couldn’t even have a conversation. The hotel door and shutter were closed and locked from inside, so I couldn’t get out. For the first time in my life, I was prepared to die. I kept asking to cancel for about 30 minutes, and finally got my passport back. It was thrown out. This town is very creepy and seemed full of homeless people. There was a stench unlike anything I’d ever smelled from a town. I think everyone at the hotels in this small town is friends and that it’s some strange religion. I went through a hell I’ll never forget. Please don’t go to this town.
