Le Palmier Ho Tram Resort

We booked a combo package for a couple of weeknight stays. It included transport to and from HCMC, accommodation, and Vietnamese set lunch and dinner. The room was lovely, and the pool and garden were so pretty and tranquil. The food was delicious, with well-seasoned pho and yummy drinks. Highly recommended. Le palmier was modern and serene, and we loved our time there. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Nguyen at the front desk and the afternoon manager, who were so accommodating. Food and drinks were high quality, including the breakfast buffet, and were well priced.

The beach is tiny, and I wouldn’t even call it a beach. An ugly concrete platform takes up most of it, and at high tide there’s no beach left, just water. The restaurant food was terrible, and my son got sick overnight, so I can’t say whether the food was stale or badly cooked. The pool was dirty, especially the children’s corner. The playground is surrounded by tall coconut trees, and a falling coconut could kill a child. I don’t recommend this place. It isn’t a resort or a four-star hotel, and should be labeled three stars at most. Don’t be fooled by the high reviews, which seem to come from locals with lower expectations. I’ve booked two nights, but the experience was so bad that I checked out after the first.

The service and warm atmosphere made our stay at Le Palmier Resort in Ho Tram, Vietnam unforgettable. The villa was stunning, spacious, beautifully designed, and spotless, with a private pool. Every staff member we met was kind and accommodating. Joseph and Steven, the managers, went above and beyond by helping my brother plan a surprise proposal for his girlfriend. It was perfect, private, beautiful, and thoughtfully arranged. At the restaurant, Thao and Chi took amazing care of us and even brought food to our room after hours. The breakfast buffet was fresh, with plenty of good options. I highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway. It’s paradise.
