The Beach House Resort

The setting is scenic, with the river on one side and the sea on the other, along a long, quiet beach. There are 14 large double rooms, so it didn’t feel crowded even on the weekend, and it seemed suitable for families or groups. The peninsula is 100 metres wide. A local market is 8 kilometres away, and the tourism seafood market, also 8 kilometres away in the opposite direction, has reasonable prices. There’s a nicely decorated pool, bar, and souvenir shop.

They charge extra for each additional guest, even if you booked a room with two double beds. I’d expect a room with that setup to accommodate up to four people at an international resort, but apparently that isn’t the case here. The explanation was that the second bed was only there to give the first guest more space, not for another guest. I found that excuse ridiculous. The service was horrible.

The facilities were nice, but the noise was a problem. Some guests sang karaoke from 4pm to 9pm, then loud music woke us at 6am. The hotel should have rules about this kind of noise.

It was quiet because there wasn’t much nearby, and all the pine trees made it feel close to nature. There’s a camping area with chairs and tables, while the pool is just so-so. The sea view and atmosphere were lovely, though the water wasn’t clean or cool enough for swimming. Someone kept singing karaoke late into the night and nobody stopped them, lol. At the convenience store, a can of beer was 25,000 VND; they also had ice and simple snacks like fried potatoes.
