Hotel Thien An

We hadn't planned to stop in Yen Minh on the first day of our Ha Giang loop, but good reviews led us here. The owner and her baby gave us a warm welcome, and she showed us the available rooms. We chose the one farthest from the main road. It was simple, with a clean bed, hot shower, and AC that worked perfectly. The bed was a little hard, as other reviewers had said, but my partner likes a firm bed, so it worked out well. In the morning, she made tea and we drank it together while showing her photos from our trip so far. I highly recommend staying here and supporting this family. Thank you!

The room was freezing and didn't match the description. The owner said none of the accommodation nearby had heating. We left and found somewhere with heat and a more welcoming reception.

We were welcomed so warmly. The room was spacious and comfortable for the price, and the location was perfect. We had a great stay.

We'd booked two rooms for the night, but the staff cancelled both without explaining why. When we arrived, they said it was some kind of mistake and put us in a large family room with five beds in a row, at a lower price, as he explained it. That wasn't what we'd expected. It was okay for the price, but the service was poor. The number listed on the booking sites doesn't work either. We tried calling earlier that day to confirm our stay and couldn't get through. We won't come back.
