Disconnecting from the world was wonderful, and the location is amazing. I loved my week there, and the staff were so lovely. I have dietary requirements, but they always made sure I had something good to eat. The portions felt generous to me. There are so many great little snorkelling spots, and having kayaks to use was a lot of fun. Thank you so much for such a gorgeous week.

We had such a lovely family stay here. The peaceful atmosphere and wonderful vibe made it fabulous. The day of snorkelling across at Embas beach was incredible, and seeing turtles along the way felt magical. Joel and the team were so generous. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year.

The Moso was an intimate, beautiful resort, with only a small group of guests. The staff took the time to get to know us and add a personal touch, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious. Snorkelling around the island was gorgeous. We also enjoyed seeing village children pass by on their way to and from school, and the boat transfer to the main island was easy. Room fans worked very well, and with the pool we were comfortable. Having no TV or WiFi in the villa helped us properly switch off. It felt like paradise, and we’ll be back.

The staff made our stay at The Moso. Everyone we spoke with was cheerful, remembered our names, and wanted to hear about our day. Amanda, Karina, and Gideon in the restaurant kept us well fed and were always happy to help. Jane and Clifford were warm and made sure we were looked after. Nunes went especially far out of his way: he sat with us during our Kava experience to check in and talk, shared what life in Vanuatu is like for him, suggested places to visit and foods to try, and even joined us for a kayak on his midday break. The chef’s meals were always incredible and kept us fat & happy. We spent 7 days in early April in a Beachfront Villa without a pool. It was much bigger than expected, with wonderful views of the water and mainland, and we’d choose it again. The room was always clean and tidy, the bar fridge stayed stocked, and the fans in the bedroom worked wonderfully. Since the resort is eco-friendly and off grid, towels and bedding are only changed on request, there’s no AC, and bottled water isn’t provided. That was fine for us because the tap water is filtered. For stays longer than a week, though, you may want fresh towels, as the humidity means they don’t dry fully. One improvement would be seals under the front door and between the flooring. We had a lot of moths, ants, and geckos visit. The resort is small and intimate, but we never wanted anything more. The restaurant, bar, and lobby are beautifully decorated and inviting. It was nice chatting with other couples over dinner and drinks. Breakfast and lunch menus stay the same each day, while dinner changes nightly. We liked the routine with a little variety. There are lounge chairs along the beach, and we used the clean, tidy communal pool for a couple of days. It was a perfect temperature and, in our experience, always empty of other guests. Embas Beach is on the other side of the island, about a 45 minute walk along a dirt path through dense forest. There isn’t much signage, but staff can point you the right way. The walk is very muggy, then the beach is a welcome sight: beautiful, quiet, and private, with comfortable water and great reefs. For snorkelling, we preferred it to the reefs in front of the resort. We’ll remember our stay for a lifetime and will definitely be back.

The staff were always smiling, easy to talk to, and especially helpful with activity planning and recommendations. The food and drinks, cocktails included, were delicious and consistently high quality. We stayed in a beachfront villa and were blown away by how natural and beautiful it looked. There were snacks and a mini fridge, room service every day, and a comfortable bed. The island was beautiful, and the calm, peaceful atmosphere made it easy to relax. Since it’s 18+, there was plenty of quiet time. Walking 30 minutes to the private Embas beach on the other side of the island was one of our favourite parts. It was breathtaking, and we didn’t see another person there. Everything about our trip to the Moso was so perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday, and there’s not one negative thing I can say. We wish we could have stayed forever, and we’ll definitely be back!
