Island Magic Resort

We brought our elderly parents, and Caroline and Damien couldn’t have done more to care for them. The owners were perfect hosts, and the staff were always friendly and ready to help with a smile. Our room was spacious, nicely equipped and had a lovely ocean view. Breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant served freshly made food with plenty of choice. It was a wonderful and unforgettable stay. Thank you, Is.and Magic, for looking after us so well.

Just 20 minutes from the airport, this is a beautiful little oasis. The snorkeling near the jetty is breathtaking, and you get lovely views in every direction. The bungalows are spacious and welcoming, with room amenities in great condition, plus plenty of board and card games. It works really well for friends or families. Staff are always happy to help with a smile, and the food is spectacular, freshly cooked every time. Thanks, Damien and Caroline, for a stay we’ll never forget. We’ll be back soon! 🥹

We didn’t stay in the bungalows, but after two visits to Birdies during our week on the island, we’re already thinking of staying there next time. The poulet local fish had been caught fresh that morning, and the food, service and atmosphere all impressed us. Caroline and Damien, the managers, were warm and welcoming. The snorkeling was amazing too, better than at Hideway Island and Iririki Island.

We never stayed at the resort, but the setting, service and incredible food kept drawing us back to its restaurant. We ate there four times, and every meal was wonderful. The margaritas were first class, and there was a great choice of wine. Caroline and Damian, the owners and fellow Aussies, were so kind and welcoming, and Louisa was a delightful waitress. A big thank you for such generous hospitality.
