The staff were friendly, really responsive, and upfront from the start about amenities that were missing or damaged in last year's earthquake. That inconvenience was reflected in the great room price. They also arranged an affordable driver for my airport trips. I was nervous after reading recent bad reviews and wasn't even sure the place would be open, but I ended up pleasantly surprised. My room had AC, a cozy bed, hot water, and a lovely deck overlooking the lagoon. It's not a grand, luxurious all-inclusive stay, but for a cozy place to spend a few nights, I highly recommend it.

The included breakfast was a tasty surprise, and my spacious room had an amazing view. From the moment I arrived, the staff were extremely friendly and made me feel welcome. They were also very accommodating when I needed to leave my luggage for a couple of days and catch a 5am flight. They made sure someone was there to pick me up and get me to the airport on time. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Sunset Bungalows in late October and were upgraded to a spacious, clean, well-appointed overwater bungalow. The staff were welcoming and gave great service. It was a quiet time, so we got to know them well. The meals were good, even with a small menu. The resort could use a little TLC while it continues recovering from earlier cyclones, but I'd stay again.

The staff were wonderful and very helpful, always willing to go the extra mile. Our room had AC and was quite clean, and the balcony was spacious, though a little sketchy. They gave us the honeymoon suite at no extra charge, which was really nice. If you're actually on your honeymoon, you might want to consider somewhere else, maybe even another country. Vanuatu isn't for beginners.

There was free kayaking on the lagoon, and the pool was beautiful and clean. The spot was so peaceful and quiet, with some amazing places within walking distance. Staff were incredible, lovely, and accommodating, and our room had a gorgeous lagoon view and daily room service. We'll definitely be back :))
