After paddling through the mangroves with Vai Villas, you can continue kayaking in a lagoon or stop at a lovely little beach for a swim before heading back. The trip also includes a delicious meal, and they can make it vegetarian-friendly. Nai, Joyce, and family were kind and welcoming. Kayaking with them on Upolu was relaxed, scenic, and such an enjoyable experience. Thank you, Nai and Joyce.

I'm travelling solo, and Nai and Joyce made me feel so comfortable during my stay at Vai Villas. They were thoughtful and attentive hosts. I joined their tours and got to see so much of the island that I wouldn't have experienced otherwise. Food, fun, friendliness, 10/10. I'm truly thankful, thank you Nai and Joyce!

Vai Villas Samoa has just reopened with new accommodation, and we had a beautiful stay. The cottage/enclosed fale was comfortable, with a double bed, cool shower, and toilet. The family and village atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we felt included. Sharing meals was like sitting at the family dinner table, with traditional Samoan food and umu. The food was absolutely delicious, with great vegetarian-friendly options. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner by booking, and much of the produce comes freshly picked from the garden. It's quiet, private, and peaceful, with a fantastic location close to the beach for snorkelling, surfboard hire, snorkelling tours, giant clams, and the turtle sanctuary. We also loved the nearby river and natural spring. Kayaking through the mangroves to the ocean was a real highlight. It's a genuinely special place with special people, and we'd love to return to this beautiful home and family on another visit to Samoa. The restaurant is also available for venue hire and weddings.

We saw lots of turtles, and felt very lucky. The canoe trip was incredible, taking us through the mangroves and out to the island. The location is gorgeous, and the journey felt life changing. The food and hospitality were lovely too. Hoping to stay in the new Falas next time. Thank you Nai!

We didn't stay this time, though we'd love to. Our cycling group came for a kayak tour through the mangroves to the beautiful lagoon. Great facilities on site, good company, stories, and views, plus delicious chop suey for lunch.
