The new front desk staff were great with customer service, but the room and restaurant service let us down. Our room was dirty, the water wasn’t running properly, and housekeeping didn’t clean or replace towels during our stay. We had to keep asking for basic things. Ordering food was frustrating too. Each time it took at least an hour, even when the restaurant was empty.

I can’t recommend booking this place. It’s an old, run-down hotel in need of serious maintenance, being sold as independent villas on Airbnb. When we arrived, mangy street dogs were roaming through the property, including the lobby and grounds. The receptionist said we hadn’t paid, then showed us to a dark, dirty room. It was infested with ants, and there was a giant cockroach being eaten alive in the middle of the floor. They left us there despite seeing the condition, and we were appalled by the cleanliness. The booking site photos are vague for a reason. We couldn’t justify staying or eating there, so we left to find somewhere else and are now out of pocket.

My family and I keep coming back here. It’s a great place, the staff are awesome, and the little tweaks needed aren’t major. We love the dogs and cats too. We always feed them, and this time we left them our leftover BBQ.

The bay was beautiful for swimming and snorkeling, and the setting and rooms were comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful. But the food really let the place down, and the pool was dirty and stank. Our first night, dinner took three hours, from ordering at 6:30pm to arriving at the table at 9:30pm, and the chicken in the pasta was still raw. The next night’s pizza took an hour and a half. It tasted fermented and the dough was still raw. With a clean pool and better food, this place would be awesome.
