Best Western Hotel Galla

The Wi-Fi was the standout for me, incredibly fast and easily some of the best I've had in an airport hotel. That matters a lot for my work. The hotel itself is lovely, nicer than many three-star places I've stayed, with good amenities, a glass bathroom wall and door, and everything working properly. It's only 1 km from the airport, which I walked. Just be aware there's no proper sidewalk for about half the route, so I wouldn't recommend walking it at night.

The shuttle showed up on time, and breakfast was good. We were only there one night after arriving late, since we needed somewhere near the airport before heading to Montenegro the next day. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn't work, and the bidet ran all night. Reception was unattended through the night, so we couldn't get help and didn't sleep.

We checked in and found that the shower head and a power socket were already broken. We explained this repeatedly when a staff member accused us of causing the damage and demanded another 20 Euros as we were leaving after checkout. Her manner was aggressive and accusatory, and the reception staff came across as very rude and unprofessional. We had booked three rooms for six people for one night on 03.03.2026. After we called the manager and described what happened, they eventually backed down, but still acted as though they had been right and never apologized for the false accusation. If we hadn't kept insisting, we might have been charged unfairly. Check the room's condition as soon as you arrive.

My parents paid in advance for the hotel parking package, which is meant to cover transport between the hotel and airport. On their return in the morning, they were left waiting outside in freezing weather for more than an hour. The driver first ignored their calls, then, after many calls and messages, said there was traffic. That didn't seem to fit the situation, given how close the hotel is to the airport. Leaving paying guests, especially elderly people, out in the cold that long is unacceptable. I hope management improves how this service is arranged. I wouldn't recommend it after this treatment of customers who paid ahead.
