I booked a room on the spot through Booking.com after bringing my son to Kosovo at the last minute for a workshop. We’re based in Tirana, Albania, about a three-hour drive away, and had waited until we arrived to find somewhere. The price was great: 45 euro for one night, including free parking, free Wi-Fi, and breakfast. The hotel was only about five to seven minutes by car from Prishtine mall. I was a little uneasy that it sat back from the main strip, since back roads make me nervous as a city person, but it felt perfectly safe. And it was beautiful, like walking into a luxury resort. The building was immaculate, with lovely sofas and lounge chairs in the hallways if you need a break from the room while traveling with family. The people were really friendly, which was refreshing. I wasn’t very hungry before taking my son to his workshop, so I just had two coffees and a croissant for breakfast. The one drawback was that the Wi-Fi wasn’t strong enough to stream. That wasn’t a big deal on this trip, but it would have mattered if my youngest had come along. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Viktor, the owner of Hotel Era, took great care of us during our three-day stay. He arranged taxis when we needed them, and even drove us to our next destination on the Sunday after checkout. The breakfast omelette and croissant were delicious, and the rooms were clean, tidy, and just right for us. If you stay in Prishtine, Viktor and his team will look after you!

The owners were really friendly, and breakfast was served in the morning. We stayed two nights in a cozy room with a nice balcony. There’s free Wi-Fi and parking too. Highly recommend 🙏

The place looked like the photos, and even though a cross-country road situation made us check in a little late, everyone at the front desk was kind and helpful. The other guests were calm and got along well. Our room looked tidy but was very dirty. There wasn’t even a bathroom hanger for a towel, and the bed linen had hairs and stains. Since we were only there for one night, we didn’t ask reception to change it. We put down our own towels and slept. The pool was too cold to use, so an employee recommended and started the jacuzzi beside it. We got in hoping to relax in the hot water after a tiring day, but only noticed afterward how filthy it was. Yellow-green bacteria had formed on the foam. Four people got into the same water after us, and it made us feel sick. It was not hygienic at all. The hotel could improve, but sadly that potential hasn’t been used.
