Hotel MANAMI

The hotel is right by the city's main pedestrian walkway, with restaurants, bars, and shops close by. There’s an ATM two blocks away. Our group enjoyed our two nights at Hotel Manami. We arrived a few hours before check-in, but our rooms were ready, so the front desk let us in after asking for our passports. It only took a few minutes. My room was on the third floor, with a comfortable king-sized bed and four pillows. It’s small, like a New York City room, but worked well for me. There was a desk, safe, hangers, a few drawers, and a modern bathroom. The shower has no door, which isn’t unusual in this part of the world. Put the floor towel down first to catch the water that splashes out. Breakfast is a buffet with a wide selection. The coffee machine wasn’t great, though Soma Book Station nearby makes a decent latte. There’s a mini bar, and the in-room coffee is free. There’s no iron or ironing board in the room. If you need clothes pressed, plan ahead and fill in the laundry sheet. It costs a few euros per garment.

Egzon at reception made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. He was so kind and helpful, and the whole team helped make our stay pleasant. Manami Hotel is beautifully designed and clean, with a relaxing feel. We really enjoyed the lovely breakfast, too. It was a fantastic visit, and I’d definitely recommend the hotel to anyone coming to Kosovo. Big thanks to Egzon and everyone there!

The location is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable, but my stay was very disappointing. The hotel has deteriorated considerably since my last visit in 2022, and I would not recommend staying here. There was shampoo in the shower but no body wash, shower gel, or soap. When I asked, the receptionist told me to use the liquid soap by the sink, which meant stepping out of the shower and past the toilet whenever I needed it. When I raised that concern, I was yelled at for asking for soap and told to use the body lotion instead. I was also told the hotel doesn’t provide soap in the shower because its Balmain products are too expensive. Being spoken to like that was unacceptable. The manager later apologized and first offered a discount. At checkout, I was told that wasn’t possible because I’d booked through a third party, so she waived the EUR2 charge for pressing my shirt instead. Another manager gave me a bottle of champagne as an apology, since we were visiting Prstina for my wedding. The comfortable rooms and location were strong points, but the missing basic amenity and unprofessional treatment spoiled the stay.

The owners went out of their way to make our stay pleasant, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and we felt at home. We’d gladly return when we’re in the area again.
