My parents had a good experience here five years ago, so when they returned to Prizren this weekend in December 2022, they decided to try the hotel again. At reception, they asked for a room and were given one with dirty sheets. They requested a change and accepted the second room without checking the bed, assuming it would be clean. After a tiring day, they paid 40 Euro and went out for coffee at a local bar. They came back within an hour without having used the room. This time they checked the bed and found dirty sheets again. When they reported it, the receptionist checked and said the sheets “were not that dirty after all.” My parents wanted to leave and asked for their money back, but he refused, claiming they had used the room. They left to find another hotel and got no refund. I suspect the management has changed, and that the good reviews so far may reflect the old management. Anyone considering a visit should be aware. If you don’t want to sleep in a dirty room, lose your money, and have your holiday ruined, avoid this hotel and its impolite staff at any cost.

The people working there are nice, but the hotel falls short in everything else. Most rooms are old and moldy, the toilets smell bad, and breakfast is very poor.

The location is central, though somewhat noisy, and my room had a balcony. The staff were sweet, but apart from a night manager who took notes, they didn’t speak English or German. The bathroom wasn’t clean when I arrived, the shower head was broken, and the table lamp had no bulb. There were cigarette burns on the table, and the hallway smelled like an ashtray. The room door looked as if it had been kicked in, and the frame had been patched with nails that came out of the wall when I pulled the handle. At checkout there was a payment misunderstanding between me and the festival I attended, and the manager became quite rude. At 40 euros a night, this was a ** experience.

The room was dirty, and the sheets were stained. The air conditioner wasn’t working when I arrived, and the staff were very rude. They wouldn’t move us to another room or give us a refund. It wasn’t cheap, either. The crapiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it unless you want to ruin your holiday.
