Jurgen and Jo-Ann were so welcoming and ready to go out of their way to help with anything we needed. We stayed in the bikers' glamping tent, which had absolutely everything supplied, and our private garden area came with a braai and outdoor kitchen. There’s an indoor kitchen too, plus a small bar, shop, coffee shop and restaurant. Everything was spotless, and the pool was wonderfully refreshing. They offer everything from glamping tents to chalets. One of the best self-catering places I’ve visited, and a brilliant stop on a long drive.

That pool saved me after hours of riding across the Karoo in 39°C. I stayed at GS Paradise (Motorcycle Glamping), and the bike-focused setup is a fantastic concept. I felt at home straight away, everything was perfect, and I loved it. P.S. Get the cookies! 😋

A little bar makes it easy to relax and meet other travellers passing through, and there’s a lovely bunch of dogs for company too. It’s a lovely stop in a tiny Karoo town, with especially lovely hosts.

The kids had a great time in the little pool, and the yard is lovely. The cottage we stayed in was much nicer than I’d expected, and their dogs are really friendly.

I travel all over South Africa, and this is one of the best self-catering places I’ve stayed in for a long time. Huergens and Johané take good care of their guests and make sure everyone is happy. Aberdeen may be a small town, but it has plenty of potential. The place is beautiful, and you won’t regret staying here. It’s awesome.
