The guesthouse is in a nice area near bars and restaurants. Our room was spacious, though the shower could do with an upgrade. The staff at the hostel, where you pick up your key, were very friendly. You can also get breakfast or a drink there, and that’s where the pool is.

We could hear every sound the other guests made, especially when they chatted on the verandah at night, so the acoustics aren’t great. The old house is lovely, though, and the rooms and beds are good quality. We also struggled with the front gate every time we tried to open it.

The room was fine, but we had cold showers for two days because there was no hot water. The kitchen was far from the outside room we booked, and the bar fridge was far away too.

The rooms are very cosy, and the service and breakfast were good. Free Wi-Fi too, though parking is a problem.

I’ve never come across people staying somewhere who were so loud and disrespectful. They rent this house to party, and end up bothering the whole neighbourhood.
