Fountains Hotel Cape Town

Nati at reception was friendly and professional, and my room was ready before the official check-in time, which was amazing. I know that might not happen every time since check-in is officially at 14:00, so thank you! Nathan quickly helped with my luggage and showed me to a room with two single beds. I didn't mind, but he went out of his way to check with Nati whether a double room was available, without me even asking. Nati called and sorted it out efficiently. Within minutes I was in a new room with one double bed. Well done, Nati and Nathan. That's really good customer service. Bravo!

The location is excellent, with shops, attractions, and transport close at hand. The hotel also has a nice pool, restaurant, and basic amenities. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town.

The pool area is lovely, with towels and chairs, and the hotel's location is great for Cape Town nightlife. I just wish the restaurant menu had more options. Something else bothered me: the staff don't have enough mops and brooms, so housekeeping doesn't clean the floors daily. Management should treat its staff better. It's 2026, not the 18th century. Nobody should have to clean floors with a cloth. Respect your employees, they work very hard.

We stayed three days and had a good time. The place was airy and clean, with housekeeping each day, and the staff were helpful and on the ball. It's very central, near shops, restaurants, the gardens, and other attractions in the heart of Cape Town. There's a laundry and gym on the premises. Sadly, I didn't get to try the jacuzzi this time.
