Sam, the night Duty Manager, really made a difference by helping us check in late and arrange food delivery. Our room was great and spacious, and the House also has a lovely shared kitchen and living room, plus a mini pool. The Charles nearby is perfect for breakfast. The downside is breakfast isn't included, and this place doesn't have a breakfast deal with The Charles. We had a wonderful experience.

The team gave us great tips and added a personal touch that made our Cape Town stay unforgettable. The facilities were excellent, and we loved the lovely little breakfast. De Waterkant House felt like home. We had a wonderful stay and definitely recommend it.

De Waterkant House has a great location in the heart of Cape Town, close to everything the area has to offer. The house is full of lovely places to unwind, and every room has its own character. Some have breathtaking views of Cape Town harbour or Table Mountain. The staff were warm and attentive, and made us feel pampered. The morning spread includes fruit, juice and muffins, with a great coffee and tea setup to start the day. There’s also a thoughtfully chosen selection of wines and gifts to buy if you’d like to add something extra to your stay. A luxurious haven and a gem of a guesthouse. Highly recommend it!

A charming, immaculate home with comfortable, well-appointed rooms that make it easy to relax and unwind. Everything you'd imagine needing is there, and the neighborhood is stunning. I highly recommend it for a breakaway.
