Kingfisher Hollow Exclusive Guest House

We had another memorable stay, with clean units and fresh linen and towels. The staff were friendly when they welcomed us, and even the two white horses popped in. The weather was beautiful, so we spent most of our time outside. Even when the wind picked up on Friday night, we still had a really enjoyable time. Thanks again.

We booked two nights and left after just one. The only cancellation policy we saw was for a no-show, so we didn't get the money back for the second night. The photos are definitely out of date. The white bedding had yellow stains, and the towels left out were faded and about the size of floor mats, so we didn't use them. The kitchenette was definitely unsanitary. I wouldn't recommend staying here, even for one night.

It could work well for a group, and the white linen was clean, though not softened. But the staff were not welcoming and had a very bad attitude. Toilet paper was limited, and there were only a few lamps. With no generator or gas during load shedding, stage 5/6 made it difficult to do anything.

The room itself was fine, but extremely dusty, with a dusty smell. It felt filthy enough that we had to ask for a mop or broom, and neither had been provided. The pictures don't reflect the place, and there seems to be a lot of maintenance needed around the area. It may have been nice some time ago, but it doesn't seem well looked after now.
