Suzie and John waited for us until 6 p.m. and greeted us like old friends. They suggested a restaurant for dinner, and we really enjoyed our stay in Cape Agulhas!

John's little used bookstore was a nice extra, and he runs it himself. We spent one night in the first-floor apartment, which could easily have accommodated the kids if they'd come along. One night was enough for us to get a taste of the “southernmost” spot. A very nice place to stay at the Southern Tip of Africa, and great value for the money.

John's second-hand bookshop on the property is fantastic, and he knows a lot about books. The B&B is close to local attractions and small shops, and well located for a night or two in Cape Agulhas. Mr. John and Mrs. Suzie are a lovely, down-to-earth couple with over 20 years of hospitality experience. They welcome guests with so much warmth and friendliness. Breakfast is simple but really delicious. Highly recommended for all kinds of travelers visiting this beautiful little village.

The breakfast was amazing, probably the best we had on our whole trip. Claudette was a lovely, thoughtful host, and we enjoyed the stay very much at Beachcombers Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are a tiny bit small, but they're furnished very nicely.

Beachcombers is in a great spot for exploring the area, and it's worth staying a few days. Claudette, the owner, is a perfect host with a genuinely customer-friendly attitude. Her huge, delicious breakfast is a great way to start the day. The one thing that could be improved is the acoustics: we could hear people talking over breakfast from our room.
