That sea view is incredible, and it goes a long way toward making up for the place’s tired feel. From outside, the idea looks lovely, but the building could use renovation, which is understandable so close to the sea. Inside needs attention too: the curtains were stained, and the drawers and fridge were a bit dirty when we arrived. The upstairs apartment not having its own door was unfamiliar to us, though we had the place to ourselves, so it didn’t bother us. Below our balcony we could see what might have been a sheep carcass beside the braai area, which also needs work. I hope the slightly run-down condition came from the difficult pandemic period and improves soon, because this could be a really nice place.
