The view is nice and it's comfortable, but the building feels old and there's no covered parking. Most residents seem to be permanent tenants and aren't very friendly. I wouldn't choose it with small kids. The beach isn't a guarded swimming beach, so you'll need to travel elsewhere for that.
I'd avoid booking at Amanzimtoti Miland. I paid the full required amount through booking.com, then more than a month later the host and owner, Moloi Ndabenhle, asked for extra money and said my booking would otherwise be canceled. I'd already arranged leave from work, and was left without a holiday. The service was terrible and unprofessional. It seems they often mess people around, so read other reviews too.
