The apartment was comfortable and well equipped, with stunning views from both bedrooms and the lounge. Sliding doors from all three rooms opened onto a balcony that stretches across them. Check-in was smooth. Lanie provided everything we needed to get access. The TV situation was disappointing, though. Before coming, I specifically asked if we should bring our own DSTV card and was told there was full DSTV coverage. During our 8 days, only selected programmes were available, and for 1-3/4 days there was no TV coverage at all because management and DSTV had a mix-up and viewing in the building was blocked. It was very windy, making beach visits unpleasant, so it would have helped to watch the daytime programmes we knew we could get, but those channels were on the restricted viewing list. The sales staff handling the booking and our questions seemed irritated when we asked for answers, and didn’t give many updates. Kudos to Lanie, who tried everything to restore the service. The problem was administrative, not technical.

I had a great time with my mates at this clean place. Awesome stay, with a sea view.

It’s old, but cheap. If you’re on a tight budget or cash strapped and need somewhere to stay, this place will do. It’s not too far from the beach or shops.
