African Sands Bed & Breakfast

A great B&B, with superb breakfast and a decent view of the coast. The rooms are great and super clean. Parking is a bit tight if you've got a large vehicle.

I booked accommodation for my family at short notice, securing it at 7am that morning for a very reasonable rate. Karien helped me from start to finish and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. All the staff were friendly and helpful, our room was excellent and well equipped for four, and breakfast was amazing. A big thank you to Karien and the team at African Sands Amanzimtoti.

I've stayed here a couple of times in different rooms, and they vary. The larger rooms have a kitchen, and breakfast was very good. The rooms were clean and neat, but the pillowcases really need replacing. At first I thought it was just the room I had, but I've since seen the same in most rooms: they're worn and old, and sometimes stained. The location is convenient for Galleria mall and the fast food shops nearby.

Caitlin was the best part of our stay. She was warm and helpful from my first call to book through to the end, and her care felt sincere. The room’s price didn’t quite match its quality for value, but Caitlin’s service made up for it. Thanks, Caitlin.
